Verdugo Hills House Talk

This last Tuesday I previewed some great La Crescenta, La Canada and Glendale homes on caravan.  (If you’re wondering what a “caravan” is – it’s when real estate agents hold their listings open for other agents to preview.)  Previewing homes in La Canada and La Crescenta helps me keep my finger on the pulse of the real estate market and on market conditions.

Here are the homes I explored along with a quick rundown of the features in each:   The first home on my list was   1965 Glencoe Way, Glendale CA - what a wonderful home, nestled into the Verdugo Hills with pleasing vistas this 2 bedroom home is a treat!      Next on the list is this 3 bedroom starter.  Affordable & ready for the new owner’s “personal touch” 3740 Encinal Ave, La Crescenta CA is a nice opportunity.

2843 Prospect Ave, La Crescenta CA is a great value.  Located across the street from La Crescenta elementary, this home should sell quickly.

My favorite, though, is 902 Flintridge Ave, La Canada Flintridge CA .  This home is the perfect combination of comfort and luxury.  Set amid a wonderland of oaks and camellias this elegant home features a beautiful courtyard, a private pool and a fabulous master suite.  Be sure and look at the link for more details.

Friday is Caravan Day in Sunland and Tujunga, when REALTORS® hold their listings open for other real estate agents to preview.  Previewing homes in Sunland and Tujunga helps me stay up-to-date on market conditions and on which homes are currently available.

Here are the homes I explored along with a quick rundown on each (or, follow the link for more details):

6824 Apperson St. Tujunga, CA Tujunga, CA is a post and beam home on the privacy of a “flag lot” in the foothills of Tujunga.  Lots of light, lots of privacy and a great opportunity for someone.

In South Sunland, just north of Apperson is 10321 Scoville Ave. Sunland, CA Sunland, CA.  A remarkably spacious 6 bedroom (or 5 bedrooms and a den) home with many upgrades and a charming, “homey”, feel.

And, last but not least, 10851 Wescott Ave. Sunland, CA in Sunland CA.  Located in a group of cul-de-sacs in a great North Sunland area, this home has a remodeled kitchen and is ready to “move into”.

Here are the homes I explored along with a quick rundown of the features in each:

348 Blythe Rd in La Canada, CA is a 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom, 4,965 square foot home in the lovely area of Meadow Grove in La Canada Flintridge.  The house is on a huge, 36,608 square foot FLAT lot that features a pool, private courtyard, patios, lawns and more.

3509 Angelus Ave in Sparr Heights, CA is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1,420 square foot home on a 6,540 square foot lot.  The house features hardwood floors, central location, spacious yard and is just a few blocks from the popular Montrose Shopping Plaza.  

2442 Los Amigos St La Crescenta, CA offers two homes on a street-to-street lot.  There is the original 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home and a second house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the same 11,670 square foot lot. 

4233 Beth Pl. La Crescenta, CA is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home located in the Crescenta Woods.  It’s a 1,617 square foot home on a spacious, 5,760 square foot lot.

3920 Oakgrove Ct La Crescenta, CA is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2,925 square foot home on a 7,780 square foot lot.  It’s got some beautiful accents with the plantation shutters and stone fireplace.  Located very close to the Crescenta Valley Park, this home is on charming lot shaded by majestic oak trees.

I couldn’t wait until the Friday caravan to see 8725 Mulberry Drive which overlooks the Angeles National Golf Club.
